June 2008 Ms. Smith had a wonderful experience during her first year teaching here at St. Patrick School! The staff, students, and families have been a pleasure to work with. The 5th and 6th graders learned a lot of new and interesting things in Science this year.  One of the special highlights of the year was observing the incubation and hatching of ducklings in the classroom (thanks to the help of Mrs. Orozco and Mrs. Habyan)!  Ms. Smith is also very proud of her homeroom students for taking the initiative to start their own Recycling Committee, and collecting cans and bottles around the school to be recycled.  She hopes they continue their “green” efforts next year!     Ms. Smith wishes everyone a very nice and relaxing summer!  See you in September! :) ~Ms. Smith
